Course FAQ
-
This is a very unique text-based class that doesn’t add a lot of personal anecdotes, stories or opinions. The goal is to give you a very pure way to interact with the text and receive an understanding of how God speaks... for yourself.
-
Yes, there are some references to the New Testament as there are prophetic parallels (Daniel and Revelation use similar iconography, for example.) However, the main point of this is understanding the purity and power of the Old Testament prophets, with the understanding that believers in Christ, the Son of God, have access to a different covenant. This class does not touch on covenantal differences, however.

Mari taught at the university level for over a year. She understands that all people learn differently. Therefore, you will get access to a reading list, videos that can be watched or simply listened to, and writing/journaling prompts. You can follow along in Scripture or simply listen. Using any one of these methods will give you a great experience tailored to your needs.
